Ingredients

  • 4 lb Beef Round
  • 2 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Tsp Allspice
  • 0.5 Tsp Pepper
  • 3 Tbsp Butter
  • 3 Tbsp Brandy
  • 1 Cup Beef Broth
  • 2 Large Onion
  • 2 Medium Bay Leaf
  • 2 Tbsp Vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp Molasses
  • 1 Tbsp Parsley


Directions

Rub meat with salt, allspice and pepper. Saute in butter until brown on all sides. Pour in brandy and ignite. Add broth, onions, bay leaves, vinegar and molasses. Stir well, and simmer covered for 2 hours. Slice, sprinkle with parsley and serve.
