Thoroughly rinse lentils and place in large saucepan with onion, chorizo, salt, bay leaf and water. Bring to boil. Simmer gently for 30 minutes until lentils are tender. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Fry bread in olive oil until crisp and golden, then chop into coarse crumbs. Fry garlic and bacon together until crisp. Add paprika and stir in crumbs. Garnish lentils with fried stuff and parsley.
