Saute meat in butter for 10 minutes. Add onions and saute 5 minutes. Stir in red pepper, paprika, and tomatoes. Cook for 2 minutes. Add 1 cup stock, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer for 1 hour. When meat is cooked, stir in cabbage and jalapenos, cover and cook for 5 minutes. Stir in remaining stock, cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Serve with a good chunk of bread.
