Ingredients

  • 2 Slice Bread
  • 0.25 Cup Milk
  • 1 lb Beef
  • 1 Medium Onion
  • 1 Cloves Garlic
  • 0.33 Cup Water
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 2 Tbsp Parsley
  • 2 Tbsp Dill
  • 1 Salt
  • 1 Pepper
  • 1 Whole Crumb
  • 3 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 3 Tbsp Butter


Directions

Soak bread in milk for 10 minutes. Squeeze the bread to remove and excess milk and crumble it into a large bowl. Discard milk. Add beef to the bread along with the onion, garlic, ice water and egg yolk. Mix well. Beat egg white until frothy. Carefully add it to the meat mixture along with herbs, salt and pepper. Knead until thoroughly blended and fluffy. Form mixture into oval patties abut 3 inches long. Place bread crumbs on a plate. Roll patties in the crumbs. In large skillet heat oil and butter, fry patties until done.
