combine garlic, oil, vinegar, salt and pepper in a bowl and stir well. marinate steak at least 3 hours. Drain, reserving marinade. broil steak about 8 minutes on each side for rare. Basting from time to time with marinade. Transfer steak to a flame resistant dish. Pour pan juice over it. Heat rum in small saucepan and pour over the steak. In a open space, ignite steak and let the flames go out. slice and serve.
