In large stock pan, add beef, beer, water, bay leaves, peppercorns, parsley and salt. Meanwhile saute garlic leeks and yellow onions in olvie oil 5 minutes, then add to stock pan. Cover, simmer 3 hours. In last 25 minutes of cooking, add remaniing ingredients, make sure you secure cabbage with toothpicks to avoid fallitn agpart. Serve.
