Saute meat in oil until well browned. Add onion and carrot and saute for 5 more minutes. Add broth, bring to a boil, add mung beans, cover, simmer for 40 minutes. Add potato and cook for 10 minutes. Add noodles and heat through. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes. Serve with a dollop of yogurt if desired.
