1. Mix together flour, sugar, tartar, cinnamon & ginger. 2. Cut in butter with fork or pastry blender. 3. IN seperate bowl, combine molasses & milk. 4. Stir in just enough milk mixture to flour so that the flour leaves the sides of the bowl. 5. Knead 10 times, then roll into 3/4 inch thickness. 6. Cut into triangles over whatever shape suits the occasion. 7. Bake on a greased cookie sheet for 10 minutes at 375*. Variation: * 1/2 fresh chopped strawberries & 1/2 cup almond extract.
