Combine all ingredients, down to olive oil. shape meat into 16 balls, heat oil in skillet, add meatballs, and brown all over about 8 minutes. Place in ovenproof dish and set aside. bring tomato paste, tomatoes, stock, salt and pepper to a boil. simmer 5 minutes. Pour over meatballs, sprinkle with chopped peppers, cover, bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
