In a food processor, chop the nuts fine then add shallots, garlic, salt, turmeric, coriander, cumin and sugar. Mix into a paste. Heat oil in skillet, stir fry the paste and add lemongrass. Cook 3 minutes and let cool. Marinate steak in cooled paste for 1 hour. Place beef on wooden skewers and grill over hot coals or place under broiler until done on all sides.
