Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 3 Medium Bay Leaves
  • 2 lb Beef Stew
  • 1 Large Yellow Onion
  • 2 Cloves Garlic
  • 1 Tsp Thyme
  • 1 Tsp Rosemary
  • 3 Tbsp All-Purpose Flour
  • 0.75 Cup Beef Stock
  • 0.5 Cup Guinness Stout
  • 1 Tbsp Parsley
  • 0.5 lb Carrots
  • 1 Salt
  • 1 Ground Black Pepper


Directions

Toast The Peanuts In A Frying Pan, Without Oil, Stirring Frequently So They Do Not Burn (A Cast-Iron Pan Works Well). When The Peanuts Are Very Hot, Dissolve The Salt In Warm Water. Pour This Over The Peanuts And Keep Stirring While The Heat Is High. Suddenly All The Water Will Disappear And The Nuts Will Be Coated With Salt. Continue To Cook For Three Minutes To Remove Any Moisture.
