Ingredients

  • 2 lb Beef
  • 4 Cup Water
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 0.5 Cup Raw Rice
  • 1 Tbsp Flour
  • 0.5 Cup Bread Crumbs
  • 0.25 Tsp Achiote
  • 0.25 Cup Cider Vinegar
  • 1 Tsp Thyme
  • 1 Small Onion
  • 0.5 Tsp Pepper
  • 2 Cloves Garlic
  • 1 Large Tomato
  • 2 Whole Cloves
  • 1 Stick Cinnamon
  • 2 Medium Bay Leaf


Directions

Heat Oil In Pan And Brown The Beef Well About 5 Minutes. Sprinkle With Salt, Pepper, Bay Leaves, Thyme, Chile, Cinnamon And Cloves. Stir Well, Add Water And Orange Juice And Bring To A Boil. Prepare A Smooth Sauce In The Food Processor With The Tomato, Onion And Garlic. Add This To The Beef And Simmer For 1 Hour. Add Crumbs To Thicken Sauce And Simmer Over Low Heat For 10 Minutes More. Serve Warm With Tortillas.
