Cut the raw jackfruit. Remove the unwanted portions and seed. Divide the soft flesh part into two halves. Cut these halves into thin strips. Add turmeric powder and keep aside for 15-20 minutes. Heat coconut oil in a large thick bottomed pan. When the oil is hot, lower the flame and drop in a handful of the sliced jackfruit strips. Stir immediately. Fry until it becomes golden brown and crispy. When they become golden brown, transfer it to a kitchen tissue and sprinkle salt over it. Mix it well. Keep it in a airtight containers for long time.
